About Ella Tremaine

Ella is a compassionate and skilled psychologist dedicated to helping individuals navigate their emotional well-being and lead fulfilling lives. She adopts an empathetic approach and commitment to her client's mental health.

As a Clincial Psychologist, Ella believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship and works collaboratively with her clients. She creates a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can openly express their thoughts, feelings, and concerns. Through active listening and genuine empathy, she establishes a strong foundation of trust, which is essential for effective therapy.

In addition to psychological intervention, Ella is trained in and conducts a variety of cognitive and educational assessments for children, adolescents and adults (WISC-V, WAIS-IV, WIAT-III, CAS, Conners-4, BRIEF-2 etc) to gain insights into an individual’s cognitive patterns, aiding in diagnostic clarification and treatment planning.

Ella is trained across a number of therapy styles, including CBT, ACT, Schema Therapy, DBT, Compassion Focus Therapy (CFT), DNA-V (ACT-based therapy for young people), Positive Psychology and engagement of Resilience-Based Strategies.

Ella is also completing a PhD with the Institute of Positive Psychology and Education (IPPE), with her research examining the cognitive and academic effects of digital media and screen use in children.

As a registered psychologist, Ella provides services under Medicare; and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
